In celebration of National Donut Day, Sydney will play host to the three night Ovolo Hotel takeover, with a ‘press for Hot Cinni Donuts’ and ‘Cinnitini Hour’ Service

Sydney, EMBARGOED 23 MAY 2025 – Australia’s most iconic donut brand, Donut King, has teamed up with award-winning designer hotel collection, Ovolo Hotels to offer the most unexpected partnership in celebration of National Donut Day and its most popular product - the hot cinnamon donut.

Famous for being the ‘Home of the Hot Cinnamon Donut’, Donut King is taking its cred to the next level and has created a fully immersive hotel takeover including two crave worthy ‘Hot Cinni Suites’ and guest experiences in what gives a whole new meaning to ‘sweet dreams’.

Set in the heritage-listed Woolloomooloo wharf at Ovolo Hotel in Sydney, two elegant suites have been transformed into a cinnamon donut filled premium escape with each room filled with spiced details including shimmers of pinks, cinnamon and sweet pink wall paint, an exclusive Donut King bed design with luxury king sized sheets, plush rugs, cushion fabrics and cinnamon donut themed pop art.

Taking cues from the hot, sweet and spiced flavour of a Donut King hot cinni and Ovolo’s avant-garde approach to hospitality, the in-room guest experience will of course bring sugar highs all for the price of one Donut King hot cinnamon donut.

Hot Cinni Suite’ in room guest experience includes a cinnamon donut diffuser, cinnamon coloured luxury towels and oversized bathrobes, delicate cinnamon smelling bathroom amenities and pink deco glassware for drinks to re-hydrate after the sugar rush. And it wouldn’t be five-star service without a ‘Press for Hot Cinni Donuts’ exclusive call service.

And it doesn’t stop there, the unexpected duo, Donut King and Ovolo Hotels have also extended the hot cinnamon donut craze to other areas of the hotel for every guest to join in on the celebrations of the hot cinni donut over National Donut Day and all weekend long:

• The lobby area will be transformed with accents of pink and cinnamon lighting that pay homage to the iconic cinni donut but also to the distinctiveness of Ovolo Hotel’s quirky and friendly hospitality

• Creation of cinnamon inspired cocktail ‘Cinnitini’ created by Ovolo Sydney’s Mixologist

• Cinni inspired bar bites take-over including Donut King cinnamon donuts with dulce de leche, cauliflower bites with cinnamon spiced mayo and chicken skewers with cinnamon BBQ sauce

• Room service donuts available to order free for all hotel guests
