Southern Highlands’ most sought-after influencer, Tom Smallwood, joined Donut King Mittagong to give out free hot cinnamon donuts for the store’s first ever ‘Free Cinni Day*’ on Saturday 13th May.

To celebrate the occasion, Tom, who has over 373,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram and who is known for his mouth-watering recipes on Masterchef, welcomed locals at the iconic donut store from 10am – 12noon to meet and greet fans and tuck into hot cinnamon donuts.

Having been located in the Southern Highlands region for many years, Donut King’s Free Cinni Day aimed to bring the local community together to reminisce and laugh as they tucked into free donuts.

Marketing Manager at Donut King, Raquel Hine, says the store’s longevity is a testament to its popularity in the local area, and the ‘Free Cinni Day’ was a chance to thank customers for their support over the years.

“The team at Donut King Mittagong was excited to give out free hot cinnamon donuts on Saturday 13th May with Tom joining us as our special guest.

“Nothing brings the Mittagong community together better than Donut King’s fresh hot cinnamon donuts and we loved the opportunity to welcome all the friendly faces to indulge in them evoking memories about our time here over the years.” she said.

TikTok content creator, Tom Smallwood, commented: “Nothing tops a Saturday better than a trip to Donut King for one of their Hot Cinnamon Donuts… and in this case, for free!

“Donut King takes me on a trip down memory lane, it was one of my favourite places to go growing up and I was excited to go back and reflect about the good old days with everyone. If you’re in town make sure you head down to say hi!”

Donut King has been the home of the classic hot cinnamon donut for over 40 years, and with stores around the country, one ‘hot cinni’ is made around every 6.6 seconds.
